About Clearline Automotive

Clearline Automotive is built on over 12 years combined mechanical experience in a prestige dealership and vehicle assessment experience for a large insurance company. Servicing and repairing customer cars, carrying out pre-delivery inspections and approved used car checks, which involved bringing in a pre-loved trade in up to a dealership standard forecourt car, coupled with experience as a qualified vehicle damage assessor, inspecting cars to identify damage, repair quality and underlying issues, and vehicle valuations for total loss.

Practical, Real-World Approach:

Clearline Automotive inspections are carried out with a practical, experienced approach.

This is focused on:

·       How the vehicle presents in real terms

·       What stands out as unusual or inconsistent

·       What potential issues could mean financially

Attention to Details Where It Matters:

Experience in damage assessment means attention is given to areas that are often overlooked, such as:

·       Paint thickness variations

·       Panel alignment and finish

·       Signs of previous repair work

·       Hidden electrical fault codes

S    Signs of track use and excessive heat cycles.

·       Overall consistency of the vehicle

The aim is to build a clear picture of the vehicle’s history and condition.

Independent & Unbiased

Clearline Automotive operates entirely independently and has no involvement in the sale of the vehicle. There are no commission from sellers, affiliation with dealerships or pressure to encourage a purchase.

The sole purpose of the inspection is to provide an accurate and honest assessment. If a vehicle presents well, that will be reflected in the report clearly. If there are concerns, they will be highlighted just as directly.

Some cars are an investment, and this independent position is particularly important with higher-value cars, where even minor issues can have a meaningful impact on both cost and long-term ownership.

Focused on Better Decisions

While many inspections focus on listing faults or ticking off a checklist, the focus with Clearline Automotive is helping you understand what those findings actually mean.

Every inspection is carried out with the buyer’s decision in mind:

·       Is the vehicle as described?

·       Are there any underlying concerns?

·       What are the likely risks?

·       Does the overall condition justify the asking price?

The value of an inspection isn’t just in avoiding the wrong car – it’s having the confidence to make an informed decision and move forward with the right one.
